I engaged with Phil to clean and polish a massive 8' x 16' marble kitchen countertop, as well as multiple rooms with imported Italian limestone floors, shower stall and an indoor Olympic size swimming pool deck. Not only did he complete the job ahead of schedule with a very competitive price, His work was better than anyone that I've hired in the past 15 years. I was so happy with the work that he did I had him come back and clean multiple flights of carpeted stair runners. I am happy to have Phil return yearly for his exceptional work.

Phil is a very sociable and likable person whose work is top notch! He did one entire floor of my condo carpeted throughout with wall to wall carpeting (living Rm and 2 bedrooms) and completed the work in just about an hour leaving me with beautiful looking floors. At my request, he took time to explain how his equipment works and made timely and valuable suggestions as to how I could do some follow-up care of the carpets. A notable visit with my carpets looking great which were heavily stained and dirty prior to his cleaning. I'd use him again and, I think, in the near future for some upholstery cleaning...! :)

When I destroyed my linen chair with a big blob of dark chocolate ganash, which I, of course made worse by not only unknowingly sitting on it and mashing it in, but attempting to remove the stain myself, I was more than a little upset. It was one of a pair of virtually new chairs, and if I couldn’t get the stain out I would have to recover both chairs, since I would never be able to match the material. And it would be very expensive to reupholster 2 chairs. I was sick about it. This could cost me a small fortune if I couldn’t get the stain out.I called two stain removal companies. The first one came, looked at the chair, and said they wouldn’t touch it. Ugh! The next day Phil, from SurfaceSpa, showed up and said he thought he could do the job and took the chair away. I admit I didn’t have much hope since the other guy wouldn’t even give it a try.A few days later, Phil returned with my chair in pristine condition- THE STAIN WAS COMPLETELY GONE! I was so thrilled and surprised that I couldn’t help but give him a big hug.Not only was I thrilled that he was able to save my chair, but I nearly fell over when he told me what he was going to charge me. He had given me a quote in our email exchanges, but somehow I had missed it and so had no idea what I was going to be charged beforehand. In fact, it was so inexpensive that I made him take 50% more (I honestly think he SHOULD have charged me at least 5 times more than he did- and it would still be a bargain!), and lectured him that he wasn’t charging me enough!We got to talking, and it turns out that Phil has a “thing” for stains, and enjoys the challenge. He’s got quite a lot of experience and success under his belt.Do not hesitate in calling Phil if you have any type of stain. ANY TYPE on ANY SURFACE. Read his website and you’ll learn that he doesn’t only work his magic on cloth, but tile, concrete- just about anything with a stain!Thanks again, Phil!
